Mission

OP posts:
FunkyGlassSlipupandyouredead · 16/10/2007 08:09

Morning Guys. Quick dip in as part way through morning routine [swot emoticon]

Think I can manage today's mission. I always like bathroom week as I can catch up on hotspots elsewehere.

cocodebear - like it. I have your email and am not ignoring you will get in touch soon.

TheMadScaryHouse · 16/10/2007 08:58

Morning all

Not much going to get done today I fear, Playgroup, then hair cut for DS1 (well trim anyway, can not bear to lose his lovley curls) and then a 5th Birthday tea.

My bathroom bin is still OK from last time, as I use liners - ha

BiancaCastafiore · 16/10/2007 09:20

Morning all

Like the new name CocoDeBear

I think our bin is OK, we use bin liners too so it's not as though the actual bin gets dirty.

I've done most of my morning routine already My Tuesday jobs are all focused on getting downstairs tidy so I'll be getting on there - hoovering, mopping, dusting, s&s-ing...

I also need to spend a little more time in the spare room if I can.

See you all later x

CocoDeBearisCocoDeBear · 16/10/2007 09:32

  7. DD2?s physio
  8. DDs to a friend's house
  9. Errands

ludaghoul · 16/10/2007 10:58

Hello

Quick note as I'm up to my eye balls in stuff....just cleaned fish out and the guinea pigs, as we have visitors this afternoon...water everywhere and sawdust and hay everywhere too!!

Off to hoover/mop it all up and then whizz about like a mad woman trying to establish some order before they get here!

Bye

BiancaCastafiore · 16/10/2007 11:36

Downstairs is looking nice and tidy and I've had a very quick skim through some of ds's clothes while putting some washing away so his wardrobe is looking a little tidier too.

I hope to get into this room (spare room/office)for a tidy up again after lunch, perhaps while ds plays on the computer for a bit.

See you all in a while x

spookybatoscar · 16/10/2007 16:24

Afternoon ALL

Hello BWB hope all is well for you

Done the usual morning stuff
Recycled 2 weeks of empty bottles and jars.
Been to Tesco to get stuff to kmake Rocky Road bars and choccy buns
Collected Ed
Made lunch
Took Ed to the dentist

I'm so worried, he needs another tooth out as the accident that knocked his front tooth out actuaqlly damaged the next one and it's taken nigh on 3 years to show it. She says it's best to extract it. Needles, injections etc etc. Will he just take it in his stride or.... And they assured me all would be well

EvilHM · 16/10/2007 16:26

grouchy I am sure Ed will be fine. Poor wee man. Forgot to say yesterday we bought ellie a Elmo dressing Up outfit when in Boston I've put it away for xmas

spookybatoscar · 16/10/2007 17:19

I think I'm more scared than him TBH. I hate needles, even havemy fillings done without anaesthetic. Plus his last HIB jab was a farce and the needle bent in his arm. But he's not being knocked out, That's just awfully too much TBH

Awh, Elmo outfit, Bless. I was clearing out a cupboard and found my Sesame Street waistcoat. Love the clothing at a sesame St General Store. Hope Ellie love it on Xmas Day

CocoDeBearisCocoDeBear · 16/10/2007 19:36

oscar surely filling without aneasthetic are worse than the needle going in? I've had my fair share of dental treatment, and the idea of having no pain relief... You are made of stern stuff.

Am sure Ed will be fine. You have to act as though it's nothing for him to worry about, so he doesn't pick up on your phobia...

Luda happy anniversary! I imagined all you regular oldtime fliers had been on MN for YEARS and years not just a few months!

Jas · 16/10/2007 22:39

Hi all
It's a bit late for my first post of the day I've been out for most of the day, and dp was off work getting under my feet when I was in

I just wanted to say to CocoDeBear (nice name btw) that I also have had fillings with no anaesthetic, and the needle is definitely more painful (unles it is a huge filling)
