How often do you wash dofa scatter cushions and main covers?

Just that really, and can you wash the whole thing?

About twice a year.
You’re not meant to though as it washes the fire retardant off apparently but I’ve got gritty kids and they need a wash.
The water in the washer is minging.
They come up lovely.

Sofa a couple of times a year. Cushion covers every couple of months.

About every 6 months

I pay someone to clean the sofa once or twice a year. Wash cushion covers when they look like they need it. Maybe 3 or 4 times a year?

My sofa cushions (seats and backs) say you can't but I put them through on a 40°c every few months since we got the dog. Maybe once a year before that if I felt they needed it.
The sofa frame bits look particularly dirty when the cushions are just washed. I've tried steaming and vax-washing those bits but it's not the same.
