Help - Too much soap in washing machine!

Hi There,

My DD has just put washing up liquid in my washing machine and I thought if I put it on a rinse cycle it would flush it out. But I've now got soap suds flooding out of the machine all over the floor. I've stopped the cycle and tried to drain it but the drum is still full of soap suds. Any ideas how I can get rid of the soap without flooding my kichen?? I was thinking that there must be some sort of anti-foam agent that I could add but I don't know what that would be.

Thanks
AK

Salt? That usually makes foam disappear. Try it in a washing up bowl first though!
