has anyone else got flies?

we have a couple of flies in the house and dp is convinced that it is because the house is filthy (which it isn't - particularly)

I know that the weather is quite mild for this time of the year and I have seen my neighbour swatting flies in her house, so I think it's just an extension of summer, however dp is convinced that you DO NOT get flies at this time of year unless there is a dead rat or something hiding behind the settee.

Can anyone reassure him that in mild weather, flies are quite normal?

funnily enough I was just watching a fly crawl up the office window and thinking the same thing! I think it is the mild weather.

We have 2 flies too.
And BL&%$Y MASSIVE spiders at the mo!!!

We've had huge numbers of flies this year. About a month ago they were everywhere. After two years of trying, my dog has managed to snatch a fly out of the air. We have also bought a Venus Fly Trap, which has killed about six. That's seven down, 3000 000 000 to go.

Tonnes of fruit flies, yeuk. And I have no idea where they are coming from, we've ransacked the kitchen, no dodgy rotting apple behind the cooker or anything.

We've got ladybirds - MILLIONS of them everywhere.

yes - we have had loads over the weekend. Suddenly they have all appeared - maybe because it is warm.

Always get flies, no matter what, banging their heads into the windows or swarming round the lights. Haven't a clue how to stop it.

I know my house is not filthy but it make me feel bad
