Cleaning Adidas gazelles

Don't know if there's a cleaning topic but I can't find it if there is..... What's the best way to clean a grey pair of Adidas gazelles? I've given them a wipe over but there are still stains. They're not very old so hoping I can save them 🤞🏻

Tip from a friend was sugar soap diluted in water and applied/rubbed in with an old toothbrush. Brought mine up from “trainers you could only wear while cutting the grass” to passable for every day wear. And mine were also light grey.

And if you can get them cleaned up then apply protector spray (I got mine from Schuh, but lots of places do them) it’ll stop them getting water mark type stains and keep them looking newer for longer.
