Rainbow mark on ceramic hob :(

I've got a big rainbow mark on one of my hobs. Possibly burnt after cooking?.never happened before..

I've used hob brite & a scraper but it almost seems like the mark is beneath the surface- I will include a picture if I can!

Anyone dealt with this?

Dunno about your hob, but love the picture behind the hob!

I have an induction hob and I have never seen a mark like that, it looks to be under the glass.

I think it's a change in the actual glass, heat tint I think its called

Yes, agree with above. None of the usual hacks are working to remove it...

Think I just have to bite the bullet and live with cosmetic imperfection!
