Just that - any carpet cleaners with upholstery attachments which anyone would recommend?
Thanks!

@TheoneandObi - not sure if I can answer in the way you want - I had a little Bissell. I have given it to the man I have paid to clean carpets and upholstery & they charge reasonably. To be perfectly honest I don't think the domestic type ones work other than a spot cleaner - which is what the carpet cleaning man wanted it for & gave me a discount in return.

My own experience is - don't bother , blot stains and every so often get a decent carpet / upholstery cleaner to come in.

But others may say differently.

Good luck

oooops too late @BasiliskStare. I've bought a Vax. I've yet to use it on a carpet but I've used it on an upholstered chair which the dog had covered with mud and whose covers couldn't be removed, and i'm really pleased with the result.
Fingers crossed for the carpets after your warnings.....

Hi there!

I hope you guys are all well and staying safe!

I 100% agree with @BasiliskStare. The domestic ones are useful only to a certain point. In regards to a complete carpet or upholstery cleaning - and I mean complete - like you have a brand new carpet or upholstery. - it is pretty difficult to handle with a non-specialised tool. A while ago we had a stain on our sofa that we just couldn't get out - it was from a cherry juice. We've contacted two companies, and on of them was certain that the stain couldn't be removed. However, the second company we've tried managed to get rid of it at almost 100%. I am pretty sure that it is entirely possible to remove the mud. I suggest that you give a shot to a professional company. I don't think they charge unreasonably, especially for a single item. And it is going to be like a brand new one - really! The phone number of the cleaners we booked is: 017 5338 6166 - the name of the company was Magic Pro Cleaning.

Good luck with the cleaning @TheoneandObi :)
