nail varnish (i think) on top - anything other than nail polish remover that will get it off?

(had to bin nail polish remover as bottle was leaking)

You pretty much need acetone (ie nail polish remover). It's the gentlest thing for the purpose.

thansk - shall make a trip to the chemist methinks

nailvarnish over the top works
but be quick before it starts drying
paint on - immediately wipe off

its a bit of a waste of varnish though so dont use your favourite one
