Ruby/Guv congrats!

simply I've emailed you back

Btw, hope my post didn't sound too flippant, Bianca, and that things look up for you soon {hugs}.
We all have days when things look really really bleak .

ScaryMonsterStories · 12/10/2007 14:05

this is to pput the malt loaf into context. I had four a couple of slices yesterday and a couple three today .

Have done all my jobs except the floors...its amazing how you whizz around with this thread....am happy to be a FLYlady again

BiancaCastafiore · 12/10/2007 14:07

Ruby I am very fed up.
Just feeling, I don't know.....we just never have any time/energy anymore....I'm finding it upsetting, he's seemingly quite happy as we are I can't keep being the one who tries to make an effort and get nothing in return, it's exhausting. He's a nice guy, and I know I'm lucky in many ways. I guess basically it's just that we just don't seem to be able to communicate on any level anymore

spooky, not at all - your post made me

SMS I have just read that whole thread, and the general conclusion was "It is fine, we all do it, just not evey day, and hide the wrapper from the kids"

BiancaCastafiore · 12/10/2007 14:17

we've been married 8 years, together 12...not sure with where that leaves me regarding getting him trained up!
I've tried and tried to make myself heard but it just never goes in I don't feel we're about to split or anything, but it is really really getting me down.

Must dash and collect ds now.

Jas · 12/10/2007 14:28

I'm tending to agree with Ruby. Life here is a long way from perfect (as anyone who has put up with my regular moaning knows) but when I am in control of my own life, and doing things for myself, I feel happier. This seems to rub off on dp and he makes more effort (when I least need it)

There is something somewhere about the fact that you can't control how other people behave, but you can control how you respond. It is relevant to almost all relationshps I think.

Of course now that I'm ill and miserable he is staying as far away from me as possible, and leaving me to do the whole bedtime routine on my own every night.

spookybatoscar · 12/10/2007 15:36

Bianca I've done 12 years with DH (16 in total) and I feel what you're saying a fair bit too. I've worked out that I only get frustrated/p'ed off because I love then stupid lump, don't know what I'd do without him and I'm stuck with him. Damned if we do and damned if we don't huh?

Trinity It will get there. When I reorganised the towel cupboard this week I realised that FLY had got me. Before I would have left it in a mess for many many months/years

Jas Poor you, hope you're feeling better?

Hello ALL

Feel totally poo myself. Ed has passed on the nursery virus too me. I feel like Slugsy, I'm full of slime.

Oh Ed's marble has reappeared. Mousetrap is complete again.

Tore a strip off DH this morning for staying in bed while I was running myself ragged and running out of time. I am heartily sick to death of being expected to do all the chores

Done my usual Friday stuff then I took Ed to the next town to buy some clothes for his empathy doll. It looks so cute in dungarees and shirt.

House looks acceptable so no one can/should complain

She had a bottle full of juice in her lunch bag, but because she didn't even get her lunch bag she didn't have any fluid either.

I was wondering what an empathy doll was too.

Anyway, must get on and stop winging and put my next load of washing it....

spookybatoscar · 12/10/2007 16:49

Empathy Doll Info I did a course on them on Wednesday and I'm rolling it out with Ed.

The charity shop in the town had some lovely clothes for very little and 'Baby Ed' looks great in them. It will help the Empathy bit as I buy Ed's clothes there as well!
