Bio washing liquid allergy...help!

I've been using persil bio liquid for years with no problems. Switched to formil (lidl) liquid 2 weeks ago and my son has come out in a rash. Can different bio liquids do this?
Shall I just go back to persil bio?

It could be the fragrance in the new detergent that he is allergic to.
You could try reducing the amount of detergent you are using and running an extra rinse cycle to see if that helps.

If you switched 2 weeks ago and your son has just developed a rash then it might well be coincidence. The rash is probably caused by something else (does he seem otherwise well?).

But as you know the Persil doesn't cause problems why not just go back to that for a bit.

Thanks for your replys. Yes otherwise well in himself, although the sudden drop in temperature may have contributed as the weather can give him mild eczema, he tends to get a couple of patches in winter and summer. But this rash is over his chest and abdo and seems different to the little patches of eczema he usually gets.
I've been using a whole capful as we have hard water (it actually advises more than that on the back) so I will try using half, I'm now washing the machine out with vinegar and on 90!
