I’d like to get an electric blanket and am looking for recommendations please? Which type should I go for I.e. under blanket or over blanket? Thank you in advance.

Electric blankets are amazing in the colder months, once you have one you will wonder how you ever managed without! Mine is from Dunelm 22 pounds for a double size. It goes over the mattress topper, under the fitted sheet. Enjoy the cosiness!

Yes definitely mattress topper one that goes under the fitted sheet. Dual controls if you have a DP. And one that heats up fast, with a timer. A good one will be 70-90 for king size. Once you've had one, you'll never be without one again!

Yes you need a mattress topper! I just ordered a new one today because my old one broke. 😀 usually have the king-size Dreamlamd Dual Boutique one but I swapped to the new Dreamland Scandi topper. Its slightly cheaper and fleecy. The main reason I swapped to the Scandi one is because it has elasticated corner straps rather than fitting like a bed sheet. Heated mattress toppers are life changing I've been using them for 2 years. 😂

Thank you very much.

Looking at the scandi one and does it heat quickly say 5-10 mins. Ta

I love my over blanket more than underblanket.

We also have the electric duvets but due to the thickness they are not as effective.

I have an underblanket. It doesn't have the ties. It just lies flat, under the undersheet. It's an Imetec brand.
Ours is a 6 ft bed so I got a single for my side. DH didn't want one.
