Simply · 11/10/2007 08:47

Hi Jas. Thanks for starting the thread. Sorry to hear that dd2 was sick last night. Poor thing and you, too. 5.30am is pretty early, isn't it? My dh tiptoes around the house too, fair play to him.

Hello Shannaratiger. Have a good day!

Right. I'm going to get cracking. See you later.

FunkyGlassSlipupandyouredead · 11/10/2007 09:00

Morning Guys.

I've done my morning routine. House is descending into chaos as I keep missing out the afternoon stuff which includes my 15 minutes. I talked to DH about him helping me do 10 mins each night and we might try that.

BiancaCastafiore · 11/10/2007 09:00

Good morning all

Jas for your dd2, hope she (and you) manage to have a good restful day and feel better soon x
Tiger enjoy toddler group
simply hello. Glad the cleaner worked out OK [anvy]- how much time will she come for?

I've sent dd to school despite her being still on the edge of this cold. She's pretty bright in herself but very snotty. Still, they'll call from school if she's not well so I'll just have to see how she gets on.
Ds is going to play with a friend this afternoon so I have some extra time today. I need to sort some bits out for work and run some errands for dh.

My routines continue to help keep me sane
Thursday is upstairs day so I'll be hoovering and changing beds etc

See you all later x

Morning Everyone

I'm off to Ti a Fi (toddler group) shortly.
Bore da to you simply

I haven't caught up on the thread from yesterday, so hello to all and I hope everyone is ok

I am soooo busy today...I've done my morning routine, but that is about all I expect I can get done today. I have toddler group, then I'm, looking after my friends DD2, then I'm running an errand for dh, then I have to get back for DD1, and somewhere inbetween all that I have to go and pick up the guinea pig cage. Oh and get to the P.O...and possibly the bank.

Anyways...catch you all later...have a good day

Simply · 11/10/2007 10:19

Hi Funky. I've just taken a look at my adaptation of your daily and weekly routine. I find that I do some bits just fine and other bits/times of the day go to pot. I think I've realised that some times of day are just too busy because of after school activities or whatever and so it's better to accept that and not try to do FLY/routine type stuff then but move it to another time/day. I hope it all works out for you.

I'm glad your routines are helping you BC. The cleaning lady works with a man (husband?) who she says does the hoovering whilst she concentrates on the cleaning. They were recommended by a neighbour. I don't know how long they will be here each week as she quoted a set price rather than a time. I'm hoping it'll all work out well.

Bore da luda. I know I should go back to Welsh classes but I don't have any spare time atm and I'm definitely not going to try evening classes. I'm not at my best then and dh is now away so much, I wouldn't have childcare.

Right. My break has lasted 20 mins. I'm going to have a quick game of chess and get back to it! I'll come back at mid-day. See you later.

hi all

just been sat on mn reading this thread

waah no one wants to buy my house

Has inspired me to get my digital camera out and take estate agent inspired photos.. amazing what you don't see IYKWIM

My kitchen window ledge looks fab as a result .. about 20 billion hotspots gone in 15 mins !

ScaryMonsterStories · 11/10/2007 13:56

Is there a Thurs mission...seems to be stuck on Weds???

FunkyGlassSlipupandyouredead · 11/10/2007 14:08

Check here if kelly isnt up to date.

I'm not doing badly now. I have gone back to the 15 minutes at a time and it helps.

Today I have done 5 minute room rescues in all of the downstairs rooms. I've also cleared my kitchen cupboards out (how much out of date food!), cleaned (kind of) the fridge and wiped all the kitchen surfaces down.

If I can hoover downstairs sometime today then it will actually look not too bad. Upstairs is a different matter

All of afternoon routine now done

Poor Jas and family and Ruby and LOs.
