Upright freezer for garage

Hello everyone,
I finally am having space in the garage to put a freezer. Yay!
I want an upright one as find difficult to organise a chest one, also don't think I can fit a full sized one.
Any recommendations? Should it be an outdoor one, garage is not insulated.

We have an upright Fridgemaster one which is not full sized. At a guess it's about 5 foot high. Holds loads and is in our single skin extension. If your garage is water tight it would be fine, if not then there's no way I'd put anything not destined for outside use

@Scootingthebreeze thanks for the recommendation.
The garage is completely dry and attached to the house just not insulated.

Individual freezers are rated as to what external temperatures they can operate at. So just check the technical info.

We have a Beko upright freezer in our garage, most of their freezers are suitable for use in a garage which is why we went with them. Its been great! Can thoroughly recommend.

Another vote for Beko. This is mine and is rated for use in a garage.

Definitely get one that’s suitable for outbuildings use, PIL didn’t and theirs only works at certain times of the year

Thanks everyone for the recommendations.
I'll be looking at the beko ones

I’ve had a Beko FFP1671 for three years in our garage and it’s been great, doesn’t frost up either. Agree with tips above to make sure you get one suitable for cool external temperatures.

There's always loads on fb marketplace if you're not fussy about looks.

Another Beko vote here. We have a Beko upright freezer in our garage, we checked it was suitable for garage temperature use and Beko came out best.

Definitely recommend.

I've been considering one and as others have said Beko seems to have a good range suitable for outbuildings.

I picked up a cheap chest one at the weekend and am going to see if the concept works for me (garage isn't attached to the house, so may decide it's too much of a faff).
