Ruby DD2 wasnt right yesterday but wanted to go in for the harvest festival church thing today. I'm expecting a phone call to go and get her later. I don't think she will last all day.

I've had my breakfast now.

I'll go and get something useful done while ds is asleep. He was up at 530 today so is napping already.

BadZelda · 10/10/2007 10:18

I got the phone call to collect dd2 at 10.30.
Funny that Ruby She has truly terriible breath at the moment, too.

Kitchen done, with an extra scrub around the taps. I may do the bathroom oes too as I can't go out this afternoon now.

DD2 is whingy, ds is clingy, and I suddenly feel awful. I ache from head to foot and just want to go to bed.

OP posts:
BiancaCastafiore · 10/10/2007 13:55

oh dear. It sounds as though you have what I've been suffering from Jas. Hope you manage to get some rest.

I've been into school and done my turn.
My routines are mostly up to date.

Ds wants the computer so I'd better get on

Bye for now x

spookybatoscar · 10/10/2007 15:08

Afternoon

I've been busy today

Done
Up
Washed
Wake Ed
draw curtains
Make bed
Wash Ed
Down with washing
Load WM
Start breakfast(porridge Ed helped by slicing the bananas and stiring)
Empty DW
Put away
Have breakfast
Clean teeth
Help Ed dress
Shell beans for soup (butter beans are a pain)
Chop veg
Make soup
Chat to posty (4 letters all trying to sell me something I don't want)
Find missing Fred from Ed's Scooby board game (it was under the attic steps behind his toy storage boxes, had to pull them att out )
Load DW and Run
Collect Ed (he had an accident at nursery, he fell over and bit his lip inside and out. he was spattered in blood )
Change his (bloody) clothes and apply Oxy action to stains
Make lunch
Empty DW
Put away
Finish soup
Sharpen kitchen knives
Put away clothes on bedroom floor
Tidy wardrobe shelves
Tidy and refold towels in towel cupboard

So that's Ed's 2nd mishap in 24 hrs, yesterday he swallowed the metal marble from Mousetrap. (And it's me who has to check that nature is taking it's course

Tonight work are sending me on a course on how to use 'Empathy' dolls in play with U5s, should be fun.

Are you all having nice days? Hope you DCs haven't swallowed their game pieces or covered in facial grazes.

FunkyGlassSlipupandyouredead · 10/10/2007 15:26

House is a tip but we have been out this afternoon so DD could have her preschool booster injections. She was very brave and now has a fluffy poodle in a pink handbag as reward

Hope all sick mummies and children perk up soon.

SpookyBearistheSpookyBear · 10/10/2007 17:01

Hello all !

Busy day today

W/m still broken (estimated to be fixed in 10 days !!! so washing outsourced to MIL

Have planted autumn plants and put down moss killer on the lawn (bit worried as after the moss has died not sure there will be any green bits left!)

Usual routines done (have also oiled the wooden draining board)
Booked summer holiday
Placed advert in paper for old dining room table/chairs

I've come to this thread pretty late. I hope all not well FLYers and their los are getting better quickly.

Dh has had to go away tonight at short notice. To be fair, he could have opted to drive there early tomorrow but neither he nor I fancied him getting up at 5.30am. Our new cleaner came today to take a look and didn't run away screaming so she has taken us on! I'm now going to concentrate on de-cluttering whilst she does the cleaning. In 3 to 6 months I hope to see a big difference. I need to keep going in the evenings without wearing myself out. I don't want to be ill again.

Right. I'm going to get an early night as I'm tired. See you tomorrow! Nos da.
