What is white vinegar?

I keep reading about cleaning with white vinegar.
I now have
-white wine vinegar - smells like wine and
-white malt vinegar - smells like malt vinegar

What is this mythical “white vinegar”? And where do I buy it?

I think it's just white malt vinegar. That's what I get. With the other vinegars very cheap.

I bought some from Amazon, imported from South Africa, to clean my bottle steriliser. Called distilled white vinegar. Did the trick, there's also stuff in gallons but it didn't contain the word distilled so to be safe I just bought the below.

You can buy it in a squirt bottle in Wilko's cleaning stuff aisle. I haven't had good results but there again I love the idea of cleaning and cleaning products but rarely follow through with them. I'm just a slattern with bad eyesight

White malt vinegar is the one you want. Don't waste white wine vinegar on cleaning.

I use it as a fabric softner.

Wilko, Savers and pound shops sell it in a spray. You use it like you would use anti-bacterial spray or window cleaning spray.

White malt vinegar is usually sold in a bottle in supermarkets.

I buy the 5l sarsons white distilled and use it to make floor cleaner, bathroom cleaner, window cleaner... I add some lemongrass oil to improve the smell but the vinegar smell fades quickly anyway

Distilled white vinegar. We use it with zoflora added to clean floors. One of the items that was out of stock at Tesco For over a month during the panic buying as everyone bought some when the cleaning supplies aisle was wiped out.
