Why is my dishwasher flashing at me?

Anyone got a hotpoint dishwasher (or indeed, not lost their manual) and can tell me what it means when the eco and fast lights flash and the bugger doesn't work? I don't want to wash up by hand

Have you looked online . a lot of companies seem to put a copy of the instructions online ... the same as the paper copy .

If no luck get back to me and i will root out ours .

Have you tried just holding the on/off switch in for about 5 seconds. I think we have a Bosch, it flashes at me intermittently, I push the button in and hold for 5 seconds and it works again.

It's worth a try.
