As the title suggests,
Have seen lots of short style flasks that are good for soup/hot food but just looking for personal recommendations as the one I purchased from eBay last week is rubbish

We use the Thermos King red flasks in our family. Pack a hot meal in it at 7am for their packed lunch and it's still warm at 1pm at school. Love them!

I use a Chilly’s small flask for my soup works very well! I like the bottles for hot and cold drinks too

ThrreeGoldfinches · 22/09/2020 17:24

Have you tried filing your one with boiling water for a few minutes to preheat? Or is the issue leakage?

GreenGoldRed · 23/09/2020 06:39

I and my kids all have Chilly pots and bottles for lunch. Really good.

Thermos King here- they're fantastic.

Another vote for Thermos King. Brilliant.

They're on offer in Sainsbury's at the moment (I swear I don't work for Sainsbury's, perhaps I should? Grin it's the only place I get to go except work and school!)

I have this brand and love it

I have thermos flasks for my DC, pack hot meals/soups in the morning and the food is still piping it thro at lunch time.

I’ve tried other makes but none are as good as thermos.

motherofawhirlwind · 24/09/2020 10:59

Thermos King (or the kids version) here too - still going strong after 5 years. Still warm at 4pm if she didn't eat at school.

Arabiannightss · 24/09/2020 18:57

I’ve tried the hot water trick with the flask I have but it just doesn’t retain heat. Think I will invest in a thermos king as that seems to be popular

Not all flasks are made well.
Thermos brand is very reliable and popular for a reason.
