dishwasher leaving manky residue (bleugh)

Hello

we have a dishwasher which is just a couple of months old and a highly recommended make (miele), recently it has been depositing manky residue on some, but not all, the items in the machine, mainly china mugs.

the instruction leaflet just says to change dishwash detergent, but this hasn't been a problem before.

I've used a Finish dishwash cleaner fairly regularly, and the filter is free of gunk.

any thoughts? it totally gets my goat to unload the dishwasher and see mucky stuff, even worse, to make a cup of tea and realise it is full of mank that DH hasn't noticed when unloading

Is there enough salt and rinse aid in the machine? IS the spinny thing-sorry can't think of the proper name-able to spin round properly? I can't think of anything else unless there is something wrong with the plumbing. If it is only a couple of months old then it should be under warranty. Ring the customer service number on the receipt or in the book and get someone to come and have a look at it.

I had the same .. had been using eco tablets rather than my usual ,and had't put extra salt in

Have you used a d/w cleaner yet ? (finish do a good one) it might be your pipes/spray arm is gunked up, I run a cleaner through every month to keep it all clean
