has anyone had house/dust mites and successfully got rid?

I'm having problems getting rid of them (and thats if they are them) neighbour works in pest control and took sample away and said they were dust mites, I'm so fed up as they are on my kitchen benches and other places, I just want a clean house! which I do clean! but nothing is working, is it time to call in the experts? ta

dust mites are tiny, not visible to the naked eye usually?

I thought dust mites were a fact of life. Can you get rid of them?

As Cargirl says, Dust mites are invisible.

We all have dust mites in our homes - they are impossible to erradicate totally. Are you having problems with allergies? There are ways of reducing them but due to central heating, wall to wall carpets etc errdication is impossible!
