I am not looking for any fancy features.
I generally just use for heating up milk and soup
or microwave meals.

I've just ditched my rusty m/w and am using a saucepan. They're just too big for what little they do. On my local Facebook page, there are always microwaves for sale - otherwise supermarkets often have basic models. Asda has an old style one with two dials for £35.

We have a basic mw, we brought ours at Currys, cheap not digital, clockwork dial, easy peasey, white and fairly small as mw goes.

We got a cheap and cheerful one from Argos when we bought our first home in 2008 and it's still working fine.
