Cleaning trainers

DD has some (very expensive) Geox trainers and they are filthy! I have tried white polish on the toe area and it is rubbish. It seems it could be where it has been scuffed rather than dirty IYSWIM. I can't justify buying her more but what can I do? TIA.

BTW I mentioned they are Geox as I am fairly sure they can't go in the washer.

scrub lightly with a nailbrush, and soapy water.

Hi,
Baby wipes I have found tend to work well in these situations.
