Mattress for student digs

My dd has just arrived at her student digs and there is no mattress in her rented supposedly furnished flat. Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced mattress that could be delivered to central London ? We are in Australia - she is so jetlagged she has crashed on the sofa!

Ikea....the spring one though, not the foam one.

You can also get rolled up mattresses in a box if she's up a load of stairs or anything (if you google, there's loads - just depends on your price range).

And btw that's outrageous - a furnished flat means there's a mattress there!

(Amazon has some or look at Simba/Emma (though more expensive) and Dreams. Argos can be good too and often have better delivery options).

There appears to be a delivery backlog (I guess a lot of people ordering now!) so it's worth checking out the delivery time before you order

The Ikea Hovag is really comfortable and really reasonably priced

Thank you all for your great advice, mattress in a box looks brilliant - have never heard of it ! Yes there are stairs ++ !
Agree SallyCylic, she will follow up with realestate agent. No one had returned her call by the time she went to bed.

poor girl!

yes I'm in London too and thought she may have stairs! My first place had loads of them and I was so relieved to find the mattress like that!

fingers crossed you sort it out soon - I hope the letting agent comes back to her. That really is outrageous, she must have been exhausted.
