Limescale from toilet rim

It's really stubborn and also a gross brown/grey colour. Has been there since we moved in and have tried cilit bang - not working. There's not loads of it but it really bothers me and lock down has made me hyper aware of everything! Any advice before I give up and get a new toilet? Thank you

I have the HG Toilet Renovation Kit which I am just about to use. There must be other things on the market too.

I swear by toilet tablets. I plop two down the loo overnight once a week. You need to keep on top of it as it's where there isn't a smooth surface the limescale 'sticks'

There is a hell that you brush on. Get it in Robert dyas etc.

Gel! Not he'll

Yep I would not recommend the HG kit. It's thin limescale remover with what is effectively a thin green scourer on a stick.

Limelight is pretty good. Also I tried the 2p tip to clean stubborn limescale off a bathroom tap and amazingly it worked so you could try that?

Maybe with rubber gloves on!
