My ds is going to his fathers for a week after Xmas and his room needs "doing" and I need something to "do"! (Although think I may just "FLY as I high as I can"!!

He loves trains (Thomas), Planes, Cars, etc. He is also desperate for the type of bed that is like a bunk but with a slide and ladder which is easy to order. Already have wardrobe, chest of drawers, bookcase and toy boxes.

I am going to get the carpet cleaned (we only moved in a year and half a go) and think that it would be best to replace it when he is approaching puberty and I have to re-decorate again. (Carpet is blue by the way)

We have talked about how he wants his room and he would like it blue. So that is the story so far........

I would love to do one wall as a "feature" wall but am not artistic so cannot do this freehand. I was thinking along the lines of "under the sea" or "moon and clouds" etc. But think I may have to revert to transfers stickers etc. Advise on this would be appreciated.

Does anyone have any ideas as how I can achieve a great bedroom at low cost/diy/artistic tendancies that aren't difficult/ideas on paint = well basically everything.

I basically want to do a "Changing Rooms" moment but that would appeal to a nearly four year old boy.

Am I asking too much - I wonder
