Shark hoover - quick hose release

The quick release hose toggle thing is a bit too quick release. I struggle to get it to stay in. Am I missing something or is it just a bad design?
Means the hose 'floats' about a bit rather than staying neatly tucked alongside the upright bit.

I have exactly the same issue! I'm guessing it's just bad design. Other than that I love my shark!

Ha! Oh well then, I guess we just have to put up with it. I've been a Dyson girl for about 25 years so my Shark feels v different. So far so good!!
