Hi all. Our aging dyson is giving up the ghost and we need to replace it. Three bedroomed house, 3 adults and 1 cat! Any suggestions please?

Many thanks and apologies for what is one of the most boring threads ever!

This thread is a bit old now, so if you have landed here looking for recommendations, we recently updated our best vacuum cleaner buyers guide, featuring the best cordless, cylinder and upright vacuums, tried and tested by Mumsnet.

We hope you find this useful.

Sebo - I have a Pet one now but my other one is around 20 years old and still going strong. I would never have anything else, they are really good value and last for years.

OMG I got a robovac, brand was Eufy, two weeks ago after researching loads of threads on Mumsnet. It is life changing and cost about £200. Have two cats and it picks up hairs etc. Have A mini 18v black and decker hand held with a hose, so a mini hoover in shape, for corners and stairs. Together they have changed my life this year as don’t feel like oh god I can’t face getting the hoover out. Robovac on. Quick 15 min blast with the hand held every other day. That’s all I can say.
