Cleaning radiators

I have those annoying radiators with grille tops that refuse to come off no matter what I try. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can clean out the dust and fluff that has settled inside the radiators? I've tried using the hoover but it didn't work.

Ignore it? That's what I do.

Hairdryer and blow dust out?

Watching as I'd love to know. I have two with the grill that are full of dust. The rest don't have it and just get dusted with a brush generally wielded by the children.

There are bendy duster brushes that you can use.

Your answer is a goat hair radiator brush. I have one and it’s great. Google just that and you will find them.

I use a handheld steamer, I place an old towel on floor at bottom to catch any water and fluff. I do this every few months.
In between steam cleans I use a clean unused paintbrush for cleaning the tops and removing any dust . It only takes seconds and looks so much better once done.
I also try not to dry any washing on my radiators as this makes so much dust , especially on the walls above.

Hairdryer with a thin nozzle for maximum jet power. And a face mask and a hoover, it may be horrendous first time you do it.
