Anyone know where I can get a small plain, bottle green sew on patch please?

DD fell off her scooter the other day wearing her new, school jogging trousers and has made a hole in the knee . Only bought them a month ago for her new school and they were £10!!!!
I checked DD hadn't hurt herself once I'd rubbed the trousers better first!
Obviously I'm not planning a new pair just yet. The material is very thin, has almost a felt feel to it, so I think stitching it may just make it worse. I am hopeless at sewing and just thought maybe a patch of some kind would work. Anyone know where I can one from or know the best way to stop the hole from getting bigger?
TIA x

If they have pockets in them, I'd cut one out (replace it with something else if you're bothered) and use the pocket fabric for a patch.

You'll be struggling to get the exact same fabric from anywhere else, unfortunately.

If you can't match the fabric well enough to patch the outside, choose a fabric slightly darker than the trousers and put the patch on the inside, so less of it will be visible.
