How can I remove a blood stain from the mattress?

I dabbed it with cold water and have removed most of the stain but there is still a pale pink mark that I’d like to remove.
Any ideas please?

Have you tried bleach

Try bicarb and cold water

Cold water and vanish soap

Dab with bleach.

Or salt and cold water (that worked for me for a blood stain on a carpet)

Your saliva (if it’s your blood stain). Sounds gross but I read it on here and it works! Something to do with enzymes...

Bicarbonate of soda got most of it out. It’s DH’s blood so I’m going to ask him to try the saliva trick. Or will that not work now it has had bicarb on it?
