There was an awful smell coming from drawer where I store spare towels and bed linen.
I have worked out it was from a spare duvet set that was never opened but which came in a zipped storage bag which must be slightly porous.
I have washed the set 3 times, line dried and tumble dried, but I can't get rid of the odour.
The weird thing is it is the exact duplicate of a set we use all the time.
Fortunately the smell has come out of the other items in the drawer after washing.
I'm going to have to get rid, aren't I?
