Why is the colour coming out this clothing in patches? Photo

Dd bought a not cheap outfit from an etsy person. Top and trousers. She's had them a few weeks and washed a couple of times. She noticed some white marks so washed again and when she took them out the washing machine the white patches were worse.

It almost looks like bleach marks.... But she's been nowhere near bleach. Other items in the same wash are fine so no bleach in the washing machine.

Think it's linen.... Its a pale green. Can the dye wash out in patches?

The very same thing happens to my clothes at first I thought it was a mark from the line but that’s not it, I think mine is coming from the washing machine , I have no idea why I clean out the washing every now and then ,I’m wondering if it’s from my washing powder I’ll have to test it out

Yeah so I don’t know if it is your washing machine because it was on all of my clothes , the pink stuff the spray one ,my sister said she sprayed that on her white clothes and left it for awhile to soak and then washed as normal. Hope that helps
