That won't cause me to be hunched over when I'm doing the stairs.

Currently have a Dyson and clean the stairs using the hose and an attachment, and my back really hurts when I get to the top.

Is there any vacuum that I can clean the stairs with standing up?

I use my Dyson for that. So you could too?

Don’t even change the head. Finish in the living room and make my way up the stairs doing every one with the same head on the long pole. It’s not perfect but it’s not bad at all. I do it with the pet head in the pole if I need it done better now and again.

My dyson picks up a tonne of cat hair. It’s the Animal version if that makes any difference. Perhaps you just need a new head or something is preventing the suction from being as good as it should be?
