Best gadget to clean floors

Hi. Looking for some advice on the best gadget for cleaning hard floors - tiles and laminate.

I'm not sure if an all in one thing that hoovers and cleans would be best or just something that cleans. Open to all of your ideas!

Hi I purchased a Braava Jet which is the robot mop it doesn't vacuum I love it no more mopping daily for me thank you . I think if you want to do the vacuuming as well you can get combined machines.

I came online to start my own post, but will hop on here. I have a kitchen dinner with vynal floor tiles. My 1 year old still chucks a lot of food on the floor, the area is bigger than I've had to deal with and the flashmop is not cutting it.
Should I get a mop and bucket and resign myself to drudgery? Should I save up for a steam mop or a robot? (Have a roomba from better days and love it). The house was disgusting when we moved in and I feel like the floor will never be truly clean.
