Steam/floor mop

Anyone any steam cleaner or mop they would recommend for washing kitchen tiles. Thanks

We had a cheap Aldi/Lidl one which worked well for seven or eight years, getting used a couple of times a week. Always use preboiled or condensate in the tank (we have very hard water so use water from the dehumidifier tank) to prevent it blocking with limescale.

Someone I know had a Shark but I don’t know if it was any good or not.

I bought a Karcher hand held steamer with a floor attachment. TBH it is a faff, you don’t get enough steam to last for an entire floor and the cleaning pad gets too mucky after about 4 wipes. I’ve gone back to using my mop. It doesn’t clean as well but at least the dog’s paw prints get wiped up after it’s rained.

And is it easy to use? How long does it take to warm up and how much floor area can you clean in one go?

It's a S6003UK. Bought it on Amazon when it was on a deal for about £85 at the start of lockdown. I've never had a steam mop before. It's a game changer.

It heats up like an iron. I use it on all of my downstairs in one go

I have a Shark and think it's rubbish!

I have a shark - it’s ok but the lead is very short and I need an extension cable. I hate mopping (love hoovering). My cleaners use a vileda wring and mop thing and the floor always much looks better when they’ve done it as opposed to me.
