Window cleaner

How often do your window cleaners come and how much do you pay them? We live in a four bedroom house it's £17 or £23 if he does the conservatory. Is this a lot? Moreover is it really necessary to come every month in a residential low traffic street? I'm thinking to save a bit of cash I might ask him to do every other month.

In my experience, the price is absolutely fair for a four-bedroom house. Me personally, I have them cleaned every other month. They seem to stay clear and shiny throughout 40-60 days period. It really depends if your windows are easily getting dusty. As you mentioned you live on a low traffic street and I think you should be ok with once every 2 months.
The window cleaners we use have an amazing cleaning technique - they use a big extendable pole that cleans the windows with purified water. It really keeps the shine of our windows for longer. The company phone is: 020 8144 0011 and their name is Clean 2 Shine London. If the window cleaners you use are using the purified water technology you will definitely be good with once every 2 months.

Hope you are well and staying safe!

The price does sound reasonable. It's really up to you how often they come. If they are still looking good after 4 weeks maybe you could ask him to come every 6 weeks

That's the cheap end of reasonable. Every 2-3 months is all you need, though.

I live in a 4 bed house (no conservatory) and pay £17, he comes every 6 weeks but I would prefer monthly, they windows are pretty grubby by the time he comes.

£15 for a 3 storey house. Half of my top floor is over next door's house and I'd have no way of accessing those windows. I have lots of windows as it's a Weavers cottage.

Four bed house , £14 every four weeks, pay by direct debit. He also washes down the front door. I’m not sure they need doing every four weeks but I understand that it’s his income, he does a good job and it saves me doing it!
