Smeg kettle

Am looking to buy a smeg kettle, they are expensive but look so good! I know quite w few people that have it, after a while the letters have fallen off from the kettle.
For the price I expect the name to stay intact.
Is it worth buying?
Would it be better getting the normal one or the temperature control one?

I have a temperature control one which is great for coffee, otherwise not worth it if your not a huge coffee drinker.

Also the new models have letters moulded on they aren’t stickers anymore for that exact reason. Don’t get the chrome one like I did though - it is a nightmare to clean!

I do love it though.
