Boring alert! Best air freshener for downstairs loo

Tiny under stairs cloakroom type loo, no window. I need a air freshener that doesn’t smell chemically (so not the airwick things (vomit) smell) I have been using a candle but no ideal with toddlers and leaves a smoky mark on the wall. Prefer citrusy not sweet smells - so any suggestions welcome!

A reed diffuser maybe? Depends on budget- can obviously spend lots but Aldi's Jo Malone rip-offs are good for the money

@TemperedFursAndSpangledBoots I like the Aldi diffusers but there isn’t an Aldi close to me, am I a Lidl enclave (very annoying!) don’t want to pay delivery (am a tightarse)

I think the Yankee diffusers are pretty, not sure which scent would suit you best, they have a vanilla lime that's quite fresh. I always like a clean cotton.

@YorkshireParentalPerson those were what I was going to suggest. Love a reed diffuser and the Wax Lyrical ones are really good and once you've brought them the first time you can get the top up liquid and new reeds in Dunelm too.
