Best way to clean Amtico flooring - heavy traffic area kids and dogs!

We're getting amtico wooden floor (click smart if that makes any difference) fitted in our kitchen and hallway and I'm confused by different things I've read re cleaning- although it seems to be bombproof, it also seems to need very light cleaning which i am a bit suspicious of?! I don't want to wreck it - can anyone advise? Thank you!

We have Amitico click. I just use a spray mop with a tiny bit of purple Dettol floor cleaner diluted in water. It is very easy to clean.

Yes, unfortunately I hoover it constantly but such is lockdown life with 3 DC 😬 I use a Dyson cordless.

It’s great and just the thing for small DC. Ours is sun bleached something, one of the wood ones, and it has a textured feel so the only thing I would say is don’t drag heavy furniture across it as it would scratch.

I use an eco mop, and have a sink of hot water and the amtico maintainer, then soak, wring and mop.

My amtico doesn’t seem to like too much water.

Thanks again! I found our Dyson scratched our last floor (Karndean) so I'm a bit wary of using it on this one. But we have a dog and 2 mucky kids!
Thank you for mop link, I found a big giant tub of the Amtico cleaner for a good price on line so will invest in some of that.

I do use a vacuum, but find if there are stones they drag, especially around the external doors, so sweeping and the eclogue mop are best, it doesn’t take 5 minutes to do a huge area, so end up mopping most days as my floor is dark and shoes every mark and crumb, I love it though.

Sorry i lost track of this thread due to upheaval of actually getting the floor put in! Maintainer came from John Lewis! At that point was cheaper than Amtico or Amazon
