Have scoured with cif many times and it won't budge

Hob scraper and/or ceramic hob cleaner.
Otherwise just rub away at it every day and it will eventually come clean. I had overflowed marmalade on mine and it did come off in the end but it took months 😁

Pink Stuff paste works brilliantly for me. A good hard scrub with that sorts out most problems on my hob.

Try a hot, wet cloth with some fairy liquid neat on it. Leave overnight. It will soften it and then scrap off carefully. I find this softens it.
