No energy...Overwhelmed

Hello. Anyone got any tips on how to have energy? Find inner strength and power?
I have 8 and a 2year old. Working from home full time, just last week started putting 2year old back to childcare, which was such a relief.
But I am exhausted. Don't have power for anything.
I have good quality vitamins, sleep could be bit better..but just feeling overwhelmed by everything, house work, childcare, work is extremely exhausting and stresfull for the last four months. Going on holidays next week, but not feeling exited anymore.

Sounds like you just need a break OP! It seems like you’ve been doing a lot the last few months with not much down time. It’s one thing with extra pressure from work but to have kids around all day whilst trying to work and do school work and general household bits too it’s not surprising you’re overwhelmed. It’s sometimes much need to have some time away from the kids and everything- is there a way you could have a day to yourself whilst on holiday? May give you just what you need.

I find meditation really helps me, doesn’t have to be long either. I do a 7 minute one in the morning and a 10 minute one before bed. If need be I’ll do top ups through the day but only usually 5 mins or so. I find it good when I need energy, to unwind and to focus.

The other thing I do is called EFT it’s a technique used to combat emotions. You can search for videos to follow on YouTube and there is a free to download app called the tapping solution.

I have no advice to offer, but wanted to let you know that you are not alone. I am working from home too and I find it really stressful with the kids. It's not fair on me or them at the moment.

Can you get a cleaner? Even if temporarily or a one off? Be nice to come home to that?
It's been a relentless time. Try to roll with it and hope you enjoy your holiday once you get there.
