The Bare-minimum

What's your bare-minimum? Mine is:
Daily
-make beds
-keep toilet & sink clean
-hoover and mop downstairs
-laundry
-wash & put away dishes
-wipe kitchen surfaces & table
-tidy
-chage bins (if needed)
Weekly
-change bedsheets
-clean bathroom
-hoover upstairs
-dust
-clean kitchen

Other cleaning jobs such as cleaning windows, fridge or bins get done when the NEED to. What else should I be doing? Can I get away with doing less?

I keep the kitchen clean and tidy as I go same with the bathroom.
I have a place for everything so not too much clutter.
I close the doors on untidy beds(usually turn mine down).
I hoover when the carpet has too much cat hair on it,dust/remove cobwebs when I notice them.
I do a minimum but my house looks ok .
I am a slattern too.

Vacuum, by robot, weekly.
Mop - rarely.
Bathroom - occasional.
Laundry - 2ce a week.
Make beds - only when change sheets.

Daily:
Clean bathrooms (sinks, toilets, etc, not a deep clean)
2 loads washing average
3 dishwasher loads at the moment (things put straight in so not much work)
Hoover living room, dining room and kitchen (dog)
Scrub and bleach kitchen sink
Make beds
General tidy

Weekly:
Strip beds and wash
Main clean of bathrooms
Hoover rest of house
Clean most glass except windows
Empty and clean fridge
Tidy, sort and clean office

I try to stick to 2 rooms a day, on the same days each week so I can be a bit more organised.

I can't believe I open a about the bare minimum of housework and the opening comment says hoover and mop every day. My bare minimum is a lot more bare than that! Blush

This is why I asked if I could be doing less. Honestly though, doing the floors daily is something I can't give up. My floors are constantly dirty. Especially in winter. Actually, summer is just as bad with sand and water. The kids and dog make sure of that. Maybe once the kids are in school they'll stay dirt free for more than 5 minutes.
