Miele washing machine

Hi been looking at Miele washing machines to replace my beloved ISE which has finally died after 16 years 😥 I can't establish if you can use washing powder, they seem to offer a capsule system which I'm not keen on, or laundry liquid, but I can't see anything to say you can use a powder. Please can anyone tell me? Thanks

I think it's the higher end Miele machines that have a dosing system. My Miele was a mid-range one and has a normal dosing drawer for powder or liquid and softener. Try looking at the lower and mid range machines.

Thank you, @TwistedSisters. What model do you have please?

It looks like it has been discontinued! It's around 4 years old I think. However I've just had a look at ao.com and there are a couple on there that don't have cap dosing.

Mine has a capsule dosing system called twin dos that can use special detergent capsules from inside the machine. It also has the normal drawer to dispense any laundry liquid/powder of your choice. You just press a button to select which detergent to use.
