I have some lovely vintage chairs, bought second hand. Problem is they give off a smell of old sweat, and probably old fags too.

Can anyone recommend a leather cleaner that will deodorise ? or any way I can get rid of the smell?

I've tried washing with a vinegar solution, and sprinkling dry bicarb of soda on, but no joy

Hey!

I've had a similar issue with a second-hand sofa I bought. The vinegar + soda did actually work pretty decent for me, however, the smell was not completely gone. I was advised to use the help of a cleaning company. The specialists know how to treat different fabrics and efficiently vitalize the furniture. Magic PRO Cleaning UK helped me get rid of the smell. I am not entirely sure what the case is for you, and what smell you're dealing with, but the odd "old" smell was gone after the cleaning procedure. I wish you best of luck!

Stay safe!
