Vax Platinum Power Max ECB1SPV1 drying time

I recently bought a Vax Platinum carpet cleaner and used it for the first time last week. I used it to clean a small area of carpet in deep clean mode and it took 4 days to dry! The 1 hour mentioned on the Vax website is for the quick clean mode only and can't find anything about the drying time in deep clean mode. Wondering if it could be faulty. Could anyone who has one, advise how long the trying time is please?

Mine was pretty much dry after about 24 hours after using the deep clean setting. Did you do lots of strokes without using the trigger? I went over once with the wash, then once with it switched to rinse and then I went over again but without using the trigger at all and it sucked a lot more up. Don’t know if that helps at all?

@DIYgirl28 I did go over it quite a lot, as I was trying to get some deep indentations out, where some heavy furniture had stood. I will try what you suggested, thank you.
