bath tub cleaning question

I'm probably missing something obvious, but...

I have to clean a grungy bath tub. It is enameled metal, not acrylic. I have three different cleaners, and all say essentially the same thing... spray on, wait a few minutes, wipe off, and then rinse.

This might work on horizontal surfaces, but on vertical surfaces the cleaner just runs down, and makes streaks.

How do I make the cleaner stay on vertical surfaces long enough?

don't use anything acidic on enamel. that will leave matte streaks.

creamcleaner is very effective. apply, scrub a bit, rinse off.

use kitchen roll soaked in cleaner and stick to bath sides

I'd use something like cif cream cleaner instead of spray

Cillet bang foam cleaner! Brilliant stuff and the foam is thick enough it won't run too much. I use it in my shower which is obviously vertical

I used bicarbonate . Add a splash of water and scrub it all over the bath. Leave and rinse. Came up a treat. My partner and son are both mechanics so the level of grim is horrendous. Bath come up looking brand new each time
