Boring thread - Food Processor Recommendations

I've decided to bite the bullet and buy a food processor...but I'm paralysed by indecision!

Are Magimix's worth the ££? Anyone have the 3200XL...I'm worried it's a small?

I do a decent amount of cooking and lots of batch cooking. I'm a fairly adventurous cook.

I think that’s the magimix I’ve got. It was a wedding present. Size is fine.

I use it a lot. I’ve got arthritis & sometimes need its help with chopping. It’s brilliant for grating veg, making breadcrumbs, and other prep, but probably most useful for baking. I often use it when making cakes, brownies, biscuits, etc. It’s handy for whizzing up bananas and that sort of thing.

I could live without it, but it’s great to have. The downsides are that the bowls gradually craze from the dishwasher (life’s too short to wash by hand) and the attachments take up an annoying amount of space.

I’d love a KitchenAid so would like to hear if people think they’re worth the outlay.

I have a kitchen aid stand mixer that I love and was also looking at their food processors @TornadoOfSouls!

But again, pricey!

This is the capacity info on the 3200

I have a smaller model so not comparable but I will say that, in my experience, they're worth the money. I've had mine for over 20 years.

Oops. Forgot to add the image.

I've got a Magimix but the next size up (4200?). It's great.

DS2 is a brilliant cook and moving into a flat with his girlfriend. I've just bought them Kenwood Compact Processor as a moving in present. They are really pleased with it.

I also want to buy a quality food processor. I found this link, do you suggest one of those?

I've got a Magimix 3100 - the older version of the one you're looking at & the size is fine. The small inner bowl is good to have, too.
Mine's well over 20 years old and, admittedly not used every week, going strong and looks as good as new. Which is more than can be said for the accessories container whose white plastic has yellowed. Fortunately, I've never needed to keep it where it's on public view!

Kenwood Multipro are worth a look.
