bathroom storage - ideas please

Very pleased with my new bathroom - floor to ceiling limestone tiles ( natural sandy colour)but not much space. No room for freestanding shelves/wire tray thingys and don't want to fix anything to the walls. So, my lovely tiled windowsill is all cluttered. What can I get to store usual potions in? I have only got absolute essentials but there seems to be an awful lot of those.....
any ideas??

Nothing against shelves but can't bring myself to drill into expensive tiles in case of cracking disaster!

You can get suction wire shelf thingies....will try to track some down. they keep appearing in Ideal Home etc...

hmm, wicker baskets sound ok, might have a look about for right sizes. I really wanted something that closed over (i mean a lid [hmmm]) to avoid boring dusting of things, but baskets may look nice actually.

can't you drill between the tiles into the grouting?

mistypeaks · 26/09/2007 21:12

put two pieces of masking tape in a cross over where you want to drill and it shouldn't crack. (oh and drill s l o o w l y).
