We have a shark duo clean & it’s hands down the best hoover we’ve ever had! I get quite excited about cleaning now!

We have the Shark corded liftaway. It's very good. Would recommend.

I've had a Miele for about 10 years now and it's great. Not too heavy, brilliant suction, long cord. Easy to empty. It's great, I think mine was about £150. I get the bags delivered from amazon every three months.

I also have a Eufy Robot vacuum which is fantastic. It goes on a couple of times a day and bumbles around collecting dust and crumbs. It's particularly good for going under furniture, dust bunnies are a thing of the past.

I have 3 Sharks between home and the holiday cottage and love them all but if I had to choose it would be the NV700UK which is much lighter than AZ950UK which I got because it has a larger dust box and anti-hair wrap (long-haired GSD - nightmare but hoover copes very well). They both have easily detachable wands for overhead cleaning. The other one is the IF200UK cordless which cleans brilliantly and has a detachable hand held option and is really handy. They are all basically upright hoovers so need to be pushed along. Sounds as if you may prefer a cylinder but I have never found them to be as effective as an upright. Hope this helps!

Miele C3 Cat & Dog. The suction is brilliant and they just go on and on forever.

Shark Liftaway, and get the small pet brush as an extra if it isn't included because it's brilliant for upholstery and stairs. They're light, powerful, easy to clean and very well designed. Mine was from Costco.
