Lightweight, rechargeable hoover

Looking for recommendations for a reasonably priced,lightweight, rechargeable hoover? We have 2 rooms in our basement with hard flooring and a rug and I'm sick of dragging my Miele down there, so I want something that can be left down there.

I ordered a GTech for my DParents (QVC had a really good deal a couple of years ago)
It is as ugly as sin but works really well.
Light weight . Quick to charge .
Does a good job
Easy to empty cannister .
IIRC about £150-£180 ish

But ............a couple of days ago I got a HaloCapsual (£250)

Only snag is the tube and head are fiddly to remove .
But it knocks my Shark Rocket clean out of the water !

I wanted a non upright , non unit+long tube (no Henry or Miele cat&dog , I didn't want to haul the body round )
Read enough about Dysons to be dubious
