How do you keep your kitchen recycling tidy?

We have two massive marks bags that we sort cardboard and tins etc into but they look so messy and take up so much room. Does anybody have a neat and tidy solution that works and saves space? I don't have anywhere else to put it! Tia!

We have 2 Ikea containers side by side in the cupboard under the sink. One for glass & tins and one for paper/card.

I've also got Ikea Trofast storage. Single white frame in the corner with two of their largest white storage bins. The bins slide in and out easily and are washable. One is used for paper/card and the other for tins and bottles. Every 2-3 days I take them outside and empty them in to the wheelie bins.

We have the Ikea stacking boxes in the shed adjacent to the kitchen plus the recycling bags. DH takes the boxes to a village nearby so all the glass and plastic goes up there. The school and the village hall get the money. Cardboard and paper goes out for collection.sometimes plastic goes too. I have a pot for compost on the work top and empty that daily. I seemed to have finally trained DH! We have just had the outside loo replaced so if any recycling is near the door I take it with me each time. I take tubes and large boxes to school for DT. Sometimes yoghurt pots too. We have the large ones occasionally. They are also good for growing sweet peas in.
